Good evening!

Last Sunday, my cram school’s meeting was held. We had it before a training session. It was very important meeting because we could know about students’ date and ways of our lessons. Before it, I divided many materials. A lot of materials were sent from the front office. We had to divide one by one. After dividing, the meeting was held. However, I was sleepy and tired. I wanted to finish quickly. It took about two and half hours. After it, we went to Odori to attend a drinking party. It is usual practice after a meeting. We enjoyed drinking. However, a woman teacher got drunk because she drunk a lot. Her face was pale and she could not walk alone. Other teacher decided to bring her home. I cared for her before we got to Kanjo-dori-higashi station. She was awake by the time of getting there. I was really tired.

On Wednesday, the fourth period’s lesson was canceled, so I decided to go to eye clinic to buy contact lens and new glasses. I could buy glasses only 3990 yen! It was very reasonable. I could buy contact lens at a low price, too. It will be made up tomorrow. I’m looking forward to wearing new glasses.

Last Saturday

Good evening!

Last Saturday, I met my homeroom teacher in my high school days and talked to him at Central. He performed his calligraphy work to calligraphy exhibition, so he came to Sapporo from Hakodate. I heard about it from my senior. At first, I had no mind to go to this exhibition. However, I received a text message from him and he wrote “If you have a time, please come!”, so I decided to go to it. After second period’s class finished, I went to Central. However, he was not in it because he went out to eat lunch. I didn’t get hold of him when I went to, so I waited for him about thirty minutes. While I waited, I saw some calligraphy, but I didn’t know. Thirty minutes later, he came back to it and we held a reunion. He didn’t change and looked so fine. We talked about recent events, my high school days and my friends. We chatted one and half hour. I spent fun time and promised to go to a bar someday. I’m going to meet him at my school reunion before the Coming-of-Age-Day. I’m looking forward to attending it because I can meet many my friends and teachers.

Last Saturday

Good evening!

I attended a symposium about teacher training course last Saturday. Some people told us about teaching practice and employment examination for teachers. We will do teaching practice in fourth grade, so it is a long way off. However, attending this was very useful for me and I don’t have to get into a flurry. I also think about I have to make effort to be a teacher. After this, I took TOEIC in this school. Two weeks before, I took it open test, but I want to try it. For me, listening test was easier than TOEIC open test. I spent a lot of time for Reading test, so there was little time left, less than five minutes. I have an aversion to grammar and like to answer long sentences. I have to increase my vocabulary and grammar skills. If I have a chance, I’d like to take TOIEC before third grade. At night, I went to yakiniku restaurant with my senior. I met him first time in ages, about three months. He is one year older than me and he has studied hard because he is going to take an entrance examination for graduate-school next year. He can’t do his part-time job because of it. We enjoyed talking, eating, and drinking. We are going to meet next week. I’m looking forward to meeting him.

last Wednesdays

Good evening!

Last Wednesday, I went to some places because of the Labor’s Day.. First, I went to Tower Records to buy a CD. I bought Ikimono-gakari’s new single. I’m a fan of Ikimono-gakari. I have all their albums and some singles. My favorite songs are “kimagure romantic” and “kimi-ga-iru” and I recommend you. Then, I went to Sapporo station. I wanted to some clothes, but there were not clothes which I like. So, I gave up buying. Next, I rode a subway and went to Fukuzumi. There is Ito-Yokado in there. I went shopping. I bought some alcohol such as six-pack beer and shochu-based beverage and some food. I like drink very much. So, I’d like to participate to some drink party with my friends. After finished shopping, I went to home. I relaxed at home. However, it wasn’t long because I had a part-time job from the early-evening to the night. Every Wednesdays, I had two lessons. In the first lesson, I taught three people, because some two students were absent due to catch a cold. Next lesson, I taught five people. They were very fine and studied very hard. However, I was very tired. I got my home at eleven. I slept quickly.

Last weekends

Good evening!

On Saturday, I went to a lecture meeting with my friends. The theme was “Operation Tomodachi.” Mr. Tayler who was a consul of America came to our university and talked about it and relation between Japan and United States. He spoke to us in easy English, so we could understand what he said. His speech was very funny and interesting. There are several problems between Japan and United states, so I have to think about their relationship.

On Sunday, I went to a beauty salon to cut my hair. It had three months left since I was cut my hair. Recently, I went back to Hakodate many times, so I went to another beauty salon located in Hakodate. I went to a beauty salon for the first time in one year. However, my haircutter took a rest that day, so I was cut my hair by other haircutter. I talked to her about my part-time job and Christmas. My hair was shorter than before and it was very slimmed-down. In the night, I watched the baseball game on TV. It was the Japan Series between the Hawks and the Dragons. It was very exciting game. Next year, I want the Fighters to get in the Japan Series.

Symposium

Good evening!

Last Saturday, the symposium was held at Hokkaido University. I went to there to listen it with my friend. When we got to there, we looked for Enyu-gakusha, the place where the symposium was held. We thought that the image of Enyu-gakusha was an old building because the name of Enyu-gakusha sounded like old. So, we looked for an old building. However, we get lost. At last, we got to there and it was a very new building! We were very surprised. When we entered in, the symposium had been begun. We see Mr.Zeff. It was also surprised. He noticed us and waved our hands each other. The symposium was very interesting for me. The most interesting theme was the motivation of students. It was the difference between high motivation and low motivation. I have worked as a cram school’s teacher and I want to be a teacher, so I have thought what strategy is good to raise student’s motivation. I considered going to graduate school a few. After the symposium, we went to Sapporo station. I wanted to buy a book about motivation. However, there were no books. I was very sad. If there are good books about motivation, I certainly buy it.

Last Week

Good evening!

Last week, I had a part-time job five times in a week. It was a very hard week. I had a lot of jobs because almost junior high school students prepared for their second semester’s final examination and numbers of times of their going a cram school are increased. Naturally, numbers of times of my part-time are also increased. I handled seven lessons. Many seventh grade students looked hard to study math, especially first-order equation. Many eighth grade students looked hard to study math and science, especially linear function and current of electricity. Many ninth grade students also looked hard to study math and science, especially second-order equation and astral body. They studied hard, and I taught them hard. They take the final examination two days, today and tomorrow. I hope they get good scores.

Before I had a Friday’s lesson, I and my boss went to an elementary school to distribute handbill for elementary school students. It took about fifteen minutes. They wanted to get clear files which we handed out and came to me. It was fun and I got 2000 yen! Next Thursday, we are going to go to a junior high school to distribute handbill, too. I’m looking forward to go to there.

fast-food restaurant

Good evening!

Yesterday, I, Daiki Saka and Kenta went to McDonald at Sapporo station to have lunch. We ate Big Mac because it cost 200 yen. It was very cheap and taste good. However, it was hard to eat because it broke down. If you have a good idea to eat up Big Mac, please tell me!

Today, I’d like to write about fast food where I often go to. First, I often go to McDonald. Recently, I often go to there in the morning to eat breakfast. I like hotdogs and hash potato, so I often order them. To tell the truth, I don’t like fried eggs. I don’t order muffin with fried eggs. Second, I often go to beef bowl restaurants, such as Yoshinoya, Sukiya and Matsuya. I like Yoshinoya’s beef bowl, but it is more expensive than other restaurants. I hope to become less expensive. Third, Subway is the one restaurant which I often go to. My favorite sandwich is shrimp-avocado. It is a little expensive, but it is very delicious and healthier than some fast-food restaurant’s dishes. When I lived in Hakodate, I often go to Lucky Pierrot. There a lot of restaurants than McDonald or Lotteria. It is the most favorite hamburger restaurant in Hakodate. There are many kind of hamburgers and their size are very big, probably two or times bigger than McDonald’s. I recommend you a Chinese-Chicken hamburger (spicy hot). In a menu, there is a Chinese-chicken hamburger, but hotter one is not appeared in a menu. However, if you want to eat hotter one, you can order. Please try to eat it once! It is very delicious!

Shopping

Good evening!

Last Sunday, I went to Sapporo station to go shopping. JR tower was held a sale for having a JR tower square card. First, I went to WEGO to buy a backpack and a coat. Because it was very crowded, I couldn’t look for it slowly. However, I could choose a navy blue coat. This fixed price was 7980 yen, but it was held a sale, so I could buy it about 6300 yen! I was very happy, but I didn’t buy a backpack, so I decided to buy it on Monday. Next, I moved to LOFT to buy a new pocket diary. There were various sorts of them and more for women’s than for men’s. I found a good one, but its color wasn’t good for me, so I asked a clerk to look for another color’s. He searched and there were blue-black one. However, it was not stock in there and I ordered it. It takes about one week to get it. I’m bubbling with expectation. After shopping, I was willing to go home, I wanted to eat Kentucky. In Kentucky, there were a lot of customers standing in a line because of Sunday. I lined up for ten minutes. I took out it and ate in my house. It was so delicious! I felt very happy.

handbill

Good evening!

Yesterday, I dispersed leaflets at Sakaemachi junior high school. I went to there after a long interval, about 3 months. The collegiums were hold in this junior high school, so most students went home early, 11:30. I went to there with my boss of the cram school. Many students went out from school all together and we started to leaflet. We had about 80 handbills and we finished leafleting less than 10 minutes. Some students noticed me and greeted them. Two students laughed me for no apparent reason. I didn’t know why I was laughed by them. After finishing leafleting, we looked for trust because some students threw handbill. My boss said that there were a lot of handbills on the road when he went to the junior high school two months ago. However, there were few them this time. It was a good thing. After leafleting, we went back to the cram school. When we were in there, the manager came suddenly. We were surprised. He came because he wanted to have a business table about students. After meeting, we talked about my hometown, Hakodate. The manager knew about my old school or good food. I was very glad to talk about this.

I was very surprised. Probably, I have never experience to have a lot of homework in my life. So, I did them on last Sunday. However, some of them didn’t finish. I have to do the remainder. But, I have a little time to do them because I had part-time jobs for times in this week. I have to use my free time cleverly. And this week, many classes will give me some homework. I have to do early because there will be no time for doing them.

 In this week, I have part-time jobs straight four days, from Tuesday to Friday. Students who are seventh grade are studying equation of the first degree and eighth grade students are studying infinitive, linear function and current of electricity. Current of electricity is a little difficult. So, I have to teach for them to understand easy. Today, October 5, I’m going to teach for five ninth grade students. Tomorrow, October 6, the floor wage is going to raise, so I hope to raise my wage.

Summer vacation

Good evening! How was your summer vacation? Some people went to Canada. Was it fun? I had some great memories.

 In August, I went back to Hakodate. I had a great time in there. One day, I went to bowling with my friends. We did three games and I scored about 150 in the first game. However, I didn’t get good score other two games. Next, we went to go karaoke and we had a great time. The other day, I was invited a drinking session by my friend. He invited another people who were our classmates in junior high school. It was a little hard because my friend forced drinking for me. I didn’t have experience, so it was a little hard. After drinking session, we moved to karaoke and sang until 3:00 in the morning. I was surprised because a friend’s voice sounded like Mika Nakashima. She sang very well. We will meet in the coming-of-age day.

 In September, I went to Tokyo and I met my friend. I stayed at my friend’s house in two days and stayed at a hotel in two days. We went to Kichijo-ji, Shimo-kitazawa and Shinjuku to buy some clothes and Tokyo-sky-tree and Odaiba to go sightseeing. I had a great time and I will go there again in spring.

 Next summer vacation, I want to go abroad. The second semester have started, I’d like to study hard.

Examination

Good evening!

Many lessons are going to finish by next week. However, Thursday’s them, and Friday’s them are going to finish this week and Tuesday’s lessons have just finished today! We usually concern about the final examinations after some lessons. How many examinations do you have? I have three examinations which are going to be taken in the last classes and two them which are going to be taken during the term of examination. It is natural to study hard. I have been prepared for them since last Saturday. However, I’m worried about the examination of the way of English education. I have to memorize a lot of words which concern with English education and explain many words. I can’t look at all reference. It is the hardest examination for me. I can look at reference when I take other them. I have to make my notes for Introduction for English literature earlier. Compared last year with next year, I’m very happy because there are not so many tests than last year. I will finish taking examinations In July 27^th. After finishing it, I have a lot of my part-time, I’m going to return to Hakodate in August and go to Tokyo in September. I’m looking forward to doing a lot of things during my summer vacation!

Shopping-2

Hello!

I went shopping last Sunday with my friend. First, we went to g.u. at Shin-Sapporo. Do you know g.u.? It’s a group of UNIQLO and g.u.’s clothes are cheaper than UNIQLO. The weak point is that there are few clothes. I bought one polo shirt and two shirts. Next, we went to Sapporo station by using subway. It was very crowded because all of stores hold sales! Mostly stores had small areas, so it was very hard to walk around the stores. We went to several shops and we bought at WEGO. All clothes were sold 50% off! I bought a T-shirt, a shirt, and a pair of trousers. It spent less than 5000 yen! It was very cheap, so I was happy. Next, we went to ABC-mart. I didn’t want to buy shoes, but my friend wanted to buy shoes. He bought a pair of shoes. Finally, we went to Central. I wanted to buy stationery. I have a part time as a teacher of cram school and I always use a red ink pen. So, it is fast to decrease it. I bought extra leads. I could buy 10% off because of a student discount. I was very satisfied with shopping.

Shopping

Good evening!

Yesterday, I went to Rera with my coworker by using subway and JR. First, we went to ABC mart. I had no plan to buy shoes, but he wanted to it for summer season. We walked around the store. He found good shoes and I also found good sneakers. It was 2100 yen, so it was cheap! However, if I bought another shoes, it was 3150 yen add two pairs of shoes! It was 1575 yen per shoes!! It was very cheap! I bought them. I was very happy. Next, we went to some clothing store. What I wanted were clothes. There were some clothes for men, so it was difficult to find good clothes. At last, I found them at the United Arrows. I bought two T-shirts and it was not expensive. He found a good jacket, but it was small size for him. So he gave up buying but he was very regrettable. After we finished shopping, we went to Minami-Chitose station and rode the train. It was the Airport, which is the rapid service train, so many people from New-Chitose airpot were seating. That’s why, we couldn’t be seated on the seats. So, we decided to change the local train at Eniwa station. There were many seats, so we could be seated. It was a little tired, but I was satisfied with shopping.

Fighters Game

Good evening!

Yesterday, the Fighters game was held in Koshien stadium. The game was the Tigers vs. the Fighters at the Koshien stadium. It was not broadcasting on TV, so I listened to the radio. The baseball commentator was Eiji Bando, he actives not only a talent but a baseball commentator. Starting pitchers were Messenger and Dalvish. Dalvish had not been given the score for 44 innings. However, he gave a score by his wild pitch on the bottom of three. So, his consecutive scoreless innings was stopped. His record of it was 44 and 2/3 innings. When he lost a score, the sportscaster shouted so much. However, Mr. Bando calmed. On the top of sixth inning, Makoto Kaneko got a clutch hit when the bases were loaded with two outs. The Fighters caught up with Tigers. However, Marton got a clutch hit on the bottom of seventh inning. After this inning, both teams could not get a score and the game end. The score was 3-2 and the Fighters lost this game. The fighters lost two games in a row. However, the two games of Tigers were very nice game and they were very exciting. I’m going to Sapporo dome to watch the Fighters game next Tuesday. I hope to watch a winning match.

School Trip

Good Evening!

In my cram school’s students, who are ninth grade, went to their school trip last week. One school’s students went to Asahikawa, Shiretoko and Abashiri. Another school’s students went to Hakodate, Matsumae and Toya. Because of the earthquake of East-Japan, they couldn’t go to Tohoku area and had to change their destinations. Today, I’d like to write about my memory of school trip.

When I was an elementary school student, I went to Aomori. In Aomori, I went to the ruins of Sannai-Maruyama and Nebuta-no-Sato. I was overwhelmed by some ruins and I was surprised at the size of Nebuta.

In junior high school, I went to Morioka and Akita. To go to Morioka, I used the Shinkansen. It was the first time to ride it. I took independence study in Morioka, and I went to Lake Towada. I took an agricultural experience in Akita. I chose to pick edible wild plants. It was hard, but their taste was very good.

When I was a high school student, I went to Nara, Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. I couldn’t go to Hiroshima because the summit was held. However, it was the most memorable for me. First day, I went to Universal Studio Japan. I enjoyed taking many attractions. My favorite attraction was Spider-Man. Until four day in the afternoon, I spent in Kansai area and I moved to Tokyo by using Shinkansen. In Tokyo, I went to Harajuku, Ueno and Shibuya. I wanted to buy clothes, but they were very expensive, especially Shibuya. However, I’m sure it was very interesting and memorable.

Headset

Good evening everyone!

 Last Thursday, I bought a headset. I’m going to tell why I bought it. In Mr. Zeff’s class (Intermediate English Topics), I used English Central. Do you know about English Central? It is the website we can use free and can study English pronunciations and words. When I say a sentence, computer automatically corrects my pronunciation. I’m very interested in this website after this class because I can English enjoyably. I wanted to use it in my house, so I decided to buy a headset. I asked my friend what I should buy it. He said, “You should by it connected with USB.” After school, I went to Bic camera. There were many headsets and they were reasonable price. However, there was not so much the type of USB. So I wasn’t irresolute. After I bought it, I used it to study English immediately. The quality of sound was very good, but it made me painful to use it for a long time. Using headset is very efficient. For example, expect learning English, I can use to chat through the Internet like Skype. Many my friends have already started to use Skype, so I’ll register for it and enjoy chatting with my friends, especially they live in out of Hokkaido.

Tests

Good evening, everyone.

In my cram school, the class of taking steps of the test will be started from this week. All students are going to increase their classes. However, my working day is not going to increase.

So today, I’d like to write about the test and the examination. I’ve taken a lot of tests since I was an elementary school student. I took such as regularly examinations, proficiency tests, quizzes, mock examinations, the entrance examinations, official approval of English or Chinese characters and TOEIC tests. When I was a junior high school student, I went to cram school. Before a week of the test, I went to there every day and studied hard with my friends. I was in there from after school to about 22:30 and I bought dinner at a supermarket or a Lucky Pierrot with them and ate in the cram school. It was fun for me. When I was a high school student, it was very hard to study because there were a lot of tests. Especially, when I was a ninth grade, I took so many tests. There were many mock examinations add regularly examinations or proficiency tests. The most unpleasant thing is a mock exam after a week finishing a regularly exam. I regretted not studying more. Now, I have some quizzes and regularly exam twice in a year. And I prepare to take an official approval of English and TOEIC. So, I’m studying for them.

Baseball Game

Good evening!

Last Saturday, I went to Sapporo Dome to watch the baseball game. I won the two tickets of this game in SAPICA's quiz. I didn't think to win the campaign, so it was very happy. I invited Mr.Hisamatsu. I've watched the baseball games at Sapporo Dome twice in this season. We watched at the reserved seats of A in the infield. It was close to players. The game was between Fighters and Giants. Starting pitchers were Yagi and Utsumi. Both pitchers got off to a shaky start. At the point of finishing the first inning, Giants was winning 2-1. Later the first inning, Utsumi pitched very well, but Yagi didin't. He was changed in the only fourth inning. The bottom of the sixth inning was the most exciting inning. Nakata blasted a two-run homer in the left stands and the difference in point was one, 4-3. However, despite there were some chances to reversal, Fighters lost this game. In the last, Lomero held the players of Fighters. We found a good player in this game. His name is Daisuke Fujimura. We had never known before we watched. I searched about him. He was chosen in the first round of the draft in 2007. He took part in the game of the farm team. This year, he took part in the game of the first team for the first time. I want him to active in the first team.

Last Monday

Good evening, everyone!

Last Monday, I watched the movie at United Cinema with my friends. Yesterday was the Men’s day, so we paid only 1000 yen! The member was Daiki, Kento, Ryohei and me. I went to around place with Daiki and Kento, but it was the first time to go with Ryohei. We watched “Black Swan”. The story is about a ballerina. The main actress is Natalie Portman and she won the Academy Award of the leading actress. It’s not a horror movie, but there are some scenes which I was startled. It is a good movie, I think. I recommend you to watch this movie. However, there are some scenes of shedding blood, so you are careful if you don’t like them. After watching the movie, we went to Taj Mahal, which is an Indian restaurant. The scent of a lot spices was in the air. We ate curries and nans. I ate a soup curry and a nun for the first time. It tasted very good!  Next, we went to GEO located in Tanuki-Koji by walk. We didn’t rent, only saw a lot of CDs and DVDs. There are DVDs, Paranormal Activity, Paranormal Activity 2 and the Tantei Knight Scoop. I want to rent them. It was very fun! I’d like to go somewhere soon!!

My First Blog

Good evening, everybody! I'm Kosuke. I contribute my first blog. Today, I'd like to introduce myself.

I'm from Hakodate and I live in alone near this university.
In junior and senior high school, I belonged to the table tennis club. However, I like swimming better than table tennis. I went to a swimming school for nine years. I wanted to belong a swimming club, but there wasn't it in my junior high school and it didn't active in my high school, so I belonged to the table tennis club. Now, I go to Hiragishi pool once or twice in a month.
I have a part-time job as a teacher of a cram school. Because I want to become a teacher, I chose this job. This job is not only I teach students any subjects but also I study about teaching and a lot of knowledge. I always think about how I teach students to understand easily. This is my eternity theme as a teacher.
My hobbies are listening to music and watching the baseball game. My favorite singers are Ikimono-gakari and Bon Jovi. Their songs are very good! I recommend you to listen to them. I sometimes go to Sapporo dome to watch a Fighters game. In this year, I watched it twice. Both games won a victory. I'm going to go there on May 21th. The game is Fighters vs. Giants. It'll be a great game, probably.
