What did you do during the year-end and New Year holidays? I went back to my hometown Hakodate. In December 30th, I went to Jozankei to meet my family and my father took me Hakodate by his car. In New Year’s EVE, I went to my grandmother’s house with my family. I ate sushi and Chinese food and drunk beer. I enjoyed talking to my family, too. It was very fun because I have not met them for a long time. After eating, we went home and watched TV. Gaki-tsuka was very interesting TV program and we laughed. While I watched it, I ate toshikoshi-soba. When New Year came, I was watching TV. I slept at two o’clock.
The New Year’s Day, I went to the mall to buy a lucky bag. I woke up at seven and left my house at eight. I rode a bus. When I got the mall, many people lined up in front of the entrance. I worried about that I could not buy a lucky bag. Opening the door, I hurried up to go to the shop. Almost people went to other shops, so I could buy a lucky bag which I wanted. I was very happy.
